Bally’s Casino Baton Rouge Gets Major Land-Based Remodel

  • Bally’s Casino Baton Rouge has opened their new land-based casino.
  • The cost of the renovation came in over $140 million.

BATON ROUGE, La. – The Bally’s Casino in Baton Rouge has gotten a major facelift with their newly built 25,000 square foot land-based casino facility. Years prior, Bally’s Casino was a reportedly failing riverboat operation.

Now, their new $140+ million redevelopment will feature one of the best legal casinos in the downtown riverfront area of Baton Rouge, featuring a new hotel too.

Included will be over 700 slot machines, several different table game pits, and a Bally Bet Sportsbook & Lounge.

Outside Of The Casino

Other than the casino floor, the Bally’s will feature a newly renovated hotel with around 250 rooms for guests, several restaurants, coffee shops, shopping stores, and food courts. There will even be event halls, a fitness center, and an outdoor terrace area for all guests to enjoy.

The facility is also strategically placed next to LSU’s Tiger Stadium, which is set to bring in even more guests during the football season.

Local Economics

The opening of the new Bally’s Baton Rouge proves it is one of the best legal casinos in Louisiana based on their immediate impact on the local economy. Having boosted the total jobs to 500 at their facility from 350, the Bally’s brand itself also put up $250 million to revamp the riverfront/downtown area outside of their facility in an attempt to bring even more tourism to the area.
