Potawatomi Howlin’ Wins Drawings Pay Up to $10,000 Hourly

  • Ten members an hour pick from a 50-square board in the Howlin’ Wins drawings on Nov. 5, 12 and 19.
  • Each Thursday’s $100,000 board holds one $10,000 cash prize, but cash is $38,000 of it and the rest is Reward Play.
  • The Nov. 11 kiosk game needs 500 same-day tier credits and lists seven Reward Play prizes, six at $100 or less.
  • Prizes left unclaimed on the Thursday boards roll to cash for the Dec. 18 finale, which includes a $50,000 cash prize.

MILWAUKEE – Potawatomi Casino Hotel will hold its Howlin’ Wins prize drawings hourly from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursdays, Nov. 5, 12 and 19, with cash prizes of up to $10,000, and will run a one-day Veterans Day kiosk game on Wednesday, Nov. 11, that pays up to $1,000 in Reward Play.

The Board Holds One $10,000 Cash Prize And 43 Reward Play Squares

Under Potawatomi’s Howlin’ Wins promotion, every hourly drawing pulls 10 names from the Potawatomi Rewards entry pool, and each person called picks one of 50 hidden squares on the stage board. The promotion page lists $10,000, $6,000 and $4,000 in cash among the potential prizes, along with Reward Play from $500 to $3,000.

The official rules for Monster Win Madness, the $1.2 million event that Howlin’ Wins belongs to, put numbers on the November board. It is a $100,000 board for each Thursday, with one $10,000 cash prize, two $6,000 prizes, four $4,000 prizes and 43 Reward Play squares. Cash is $38,000 of the $100,000, and 27 of the 50 squares are Reward Play worth $1,500 or less.

The rules reset the November board each week rather than each hour, so the $10,000 cash prize turns up once per Thursday. Reward Play from the drawings expires 72 hours after it is applied, and the rules do not allow expired credit to be reissued, though the promotion page says the three largest Reward Play prizes stay valid for seven days.

Entries Are One Per 100 Tier Credits And Triple On Drawing Days

Every 100 tier credits put through a Potawatomi Rewards card is worth one entry, the Howlin’ Wins page says, with the earning window open from Sunday, Nov. 1 until 8 p.m. on the final Thursday, Nov. 19, and credits earned on the three drawing Thursdays worth triple. Loyalty-card entries like these are standard at the best legal casinos. The rules add one-time free entries by club tier, from 5 for Spark members to 75 for Flame members.

The rules say the odds of winning depend on how many eligible entries are in the drawing, and they give no entry count. Entries sit idle until a member switches them on for that evening, which can be done from 4 p.m. on a drawing day with a card swipe at a kiosk or a carded slot session during the hour before the draw. One activation covers one drawing, so a member who wants a shot at the next hour has to repeat it.

Winners must be at the casino. A name read over the casino’s speakers starts a 10-minute clock to check in at the stage beside ElevenHundred Bar & Lounge, card and government ID in hand. There are no redraws, a member can win more than once in a night but only once in any hour, and winners are responsible for any applicable taxes, the rules say.

Veterans Day Game Lists Seven Prizes, Six At $100 Or Less

Potawatomi’s Veterans Day kiosk game opens at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 11, and closes at 11:59 p.m. that night at the Milwaukee casino. The qualifying threshold is 500 tier credits earned on a Potawatomi Rewards card inside that window, and clearing it buys one play of the game at a kiosk. The credits must be earned Nov. 11, and the game must be played the same day.

The game’s page puts the ceiling at $1,000 in Reward Play. The official rules list seven prizes, six from $10 to $100 and one at $1,000, and they do not say how often each is awarded. Potawatomi projects $59,443 in total Reward Play for the event, a figure the rules say will vary with participation, and the game page gives any Reward Play won a 24-hour life from redemption.

Both sets of rules require members to be 21 or older. The casino and hotel are business entities of the Forest County Potawatomi Community, the Veterans Day rules say, and are among the legal casinos in Wisconsin.

Unclaimed Prizes Roll Into A Dec. 18 Cash Finale

Ten winners at each of four hourly drawings, which the rules schedule for 5, 6, 7 and 8 p.m., take 40 of the board’s 50 prizes. The rules turn the 10 left unclaimed each Thursday into cash for the Dec. 18 finale, and the Howlin’ Wins page says one member will win all unclaimed cash prizes from October, November and December. Entries earned for Howlin’ Wins stay live for the December Thursdays and the finale.

On Friday, Dec. 18, the finale calls 10 names an hour from 3 to 7 p.m. against a 50-prize board that includes one $50,000 cash prize and four $20,000 cash prizes. At 8 p.m., seven members pick envelopes, one of which holds the rollover grand prize, whose amount the rules say will be set Dec. 17 after the 8 p.m. December drawing.
